২(৭৮)। মোট আয়
বিষয় বা প্রসঙ্গের পরিপন্থি কোনো কিছু না থাকিলে, এই আইনে,-
(৭৮) “মোট আয়” অর্থ এই আইনে বর্ণিত পদ্ধতিতে হিসাবকৃত ধারা ২৬ এ উল্লিখিত মোট আয়, এবং তৎসহ এই আইনের বিধানাবলির অধীন কোনো করদাতার সর্বমোট আয়ের সহিত সংযুক্ত হইতে পারে এইরূপ অন্য যেকোনো আয়;

2(65). "total income" means the total amount of income referred to in section 17 computed in the manner laid down in this Ordinance, and includes any income which, under any provision of this Ordinance, is to be included in the total income of an assessee;
